These are exciting days at Riviera Baptist Church.  God is blessing our church, and we are growing.  Because of this, we must expand our vision for our church.  The Bible says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish”, Proverbs 29:18.  God has given us a vision.  It has been well planned and prayed through.  Now it is time to make that vision a reality.  I cannot think of a better place, a better time, or a better group of people to work with to accomplish this God-given vision.

All of us at Riviera Baptist Church have an opportunity to play a significant role in such a challenge through the Building For Kingdom Growth capital fund-raising program.  This is a program in which each person chooses voluntarily to participate through giving.  No one will be pressured to give anything other than what the Lord lays upon their heart.

To continue the growth and the direction the Lord is leading us as a church; we plan to build a multi-purpose worship-center, offices, education class rooms, gymnasium, locker rooms, kitchen, and family life center.

We cannot do this without your help.  We need each of you to accept the challenge to give sacrificially to our building fund.  The key to accomplishing our goal is “Not Equal Giving, but Equal Sacrifice”.  Your gifts will be an investment in the present, as well as the future.  Long after many of us are gone, our investment in the work of the kingdom will still be changing lives for Christ.

Ephesians 3:20 says that “God is able to do more than we can ask or even imagine, according to His power that is at work in us.”  God wants to work through you and me here at Riviera.  The challenge is before us to be obedient to the vision that God has given Riviera Baptist Church.

As your pastor, I challenge you to prayerfully consider investing in the future ministry of our great church—a future as big as the God we serve!  May God bless you as we begin Building For Kingdom Growth.

Blessings,
