Children's Ministries
Children are our priceless heritage. With this in mind, we strive to provide the
highest possible quality of care. We desire to help lay a firm foundation of
faith for the children, and we want to do it in such a way that
they will love coming to church.
Preschool Nursery (newborns through 1 year)
Care is given to infants and toddlers during Bible Study, services and special events
Pre-School (2 years through Kindergarten)
The Pre-School Department is a well-planned ministry designed to reflect and provide a warm and friendly atmosphere so the preschoolers can feel at ease while learning about the things of God.
Children (1st through 6th grades)
The Children's department is one of our fastest growing and most energetic departments. We at Riviera are kept busy seeking new and effective ways to keep up with this growth. Along with individual class fellowships the entire children's department meets once a month for fellowship.
Children's Camp
In the summer those children who have completed the 3rd through 6th grade can attend a 5 day 4 night camp sponsored by several of our Southern Baptist Associations.
Children's Choir
Our Children's choir meets on Wednesday evenings. The congregation is blessed on occasions by their specials.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
What an exciting time VBS is. Previous years, the themes have been"The Great Kingdom Caper, Cracking the Character Code" and "Far Out, Far East, Racing to the Son."
