Ministries Through Riviera
We at Rivira Baptist Church believe that every Christian is called to serve and not just sit. We believe that everyone has a spiritual gift that is to be used to edify and build up the Body of Christ, the church. We want each person to know that we are expecting them to serve our Lord somewhere through His church.
Why would we set such high standards? Because the most fulfilled, satisfied and joyful Christians are serving Christians. The Word is clear that we are to witness, work and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. In ephesians 4:11-12 we are told that the work of the pastor is to equip the members to do the work of ministry in the Body of Christ.
Everyone is called to minister and to witness, no one is exempt from that service to Jesus Christ. In Matthew 28:18-20 we are all commissioned to go and minister the love of Christ to the lost world. Once the lost are saved we are to disciple each one into a mature, ministering, witnessing and discipling Christians.
We at RBC believe that every Christian should seek to serve and not just sit. We believe that for your sake and ours, it is necessary for you to serve this church in some capacity sould you become a member.
Music Ministries
Music is a vital part of our worship!!!!!
Children's Choir
The Children's Choir is for children in grades 1-6. They often sing during the morning and evening services.
Worship Team
On Sunday mornings, we have a worship team that leads our worship.
Senior Adult Choir
Our Senior Adult Choir performs occassionaly during our 2nd worship service.

The Bible is available on audio tapes. Video tapes are available on some subject areas.
Library
Our librarian desires to keep the library a welcome place for everyone: children, youth and adult. Numerous other resources are available through our Willamette Valley Baptist Association, Northwest Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. What we don't have we try to get.

Senior Adult Ministry - "Prime Timers"
Our Prime Timers have many opportunities to meet together for fun, fellowship and support. They meet monthly for a Baptist Gourmet (potluck) dinner. At times they will have guest speakers who will speak to their needs. During the summer they plan a day trip or two to one of Oregon's many places of interest. The senior adult ministry leads the seniors to be an active part of our fellowship through prayer and participation.

Men & Women Ministries - Throughout the year, we have Bible studies that are specially geared for men, women, and special topics.
