Children's Ministries
Children are our priceless heritage. With this in mind, we strive to provide the
highest possible quality of care. We desire to help lay a firm foundation of
faith for the children, and we want to do it in such a way that
they will love coming to church.
Preschool Nursery (newborns through 1 year)
Care is given to infants and toddlers during Bible Study, services and special events
Pre-School (2 years through Kindergarten)
The Pre-School Department is a well-planned ministry designed to reflect and provide a warm and friendly atmosphere so the preschoolers can feel at ease while learning about the things of God.
Children (1st through 6th grades)
The Children's department is one of our most energetic departments. We at Riviera are kept busy seeking new and effective ways to keep up with the spiritual needs of children.
Children's Choir
Our Children's choir meets on Wednesday evenings. The congregation is blessed on occasions by their specials.
Children in Action (K through 6th grades)
Children in Action is our Wednesday evening activity for children during the school year. The children are engaged in Bible stories, crafts and recreation.
Backyard Bible Club (K through 6th grades)
During the summer this activity is a huge hit with the children. Being able to go outdoors for most of their activities makes Backyard Bible Club a success along with great leadership. The children are envolved in mission stories, recreation, music and crafts.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
What an exciting time VBS is. Each year there is a new theme with exciting activities for the children which include Bible study, crafts, music, missions, recreation and yummy snacks.
